How We Rate Payout Casinos

Our ratings weight one thing more heavily than a general casino review would: the ceiling on what an operator lets you withdraw. Everything below explains how that shows up in a score.

The weightings

  • Terms transparency, 30%. Whether withdrawal limits, maximum cashout and free-spin win caps appear in the terms at all, and whether the terms say what happens on verification and on a jackpot win. An operator that has thought about large wins writes it down.
  • Offer quality against its cost, 25%. A headline judged against its sourced wagering requirement and minimum deposit, never in isolation. A 777% match at 30x and a 100% match at 35x are not comparable until you do the multiplication.
  • Currency and clarity, 15%. Whether a Canadian reader can take the headline at face value, including whether the offer and the minimum deposit are both in Canadian dollars.
  • Breadth of sourced data, 15%. Brands whose figures we confirmed in two independent sources rank above brands confirmed in one.
  • Game mix, 15%. Availability of higher-returning table and live-dealer formats. Not slot count, which measures catalogue size rather than value.

Where the numbers come from

Bonus figures come from an operator sheet dated 17 July 2026, cross-checked against a second sheet where both cover the same brand. Thirteen of fifteen brands agreed across both sources. Ranking order itself comes from our commercial lineup rather than from the scores, and we say so rather than implying the order is purely editorial.

What we will not publish

We hold no per-brand withdrawal-cap figures, so we publish none. Our payout pages explain the mechanism and show you where each clause sits in an operator's terms instead. A table we could not stand behind would be worse than no table.

Where a specific figure could not be sourced, the page prints "see site" rather than an estimate. One brand in our current lineup shows exactly that for wagering and minimum deposit.

How we make money

We earn commission when a reader opens an account with a listed operator. It does not buy a position and it does not soften a criticism: two offers in our current lineup are flagged as euro-denominated precisely because that flag is useful to a Canadian reader.

Corrections

Bonus terms change without notice. If a figure here is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it and date the change.
